Welcome to another day of Dressing Up Dolly! Today I’m sharing a free doll boot pattern and a dress too!
Free Doll Boot Pattern | DIY Doll Boots
First, How I Made the Skirt
Today I have another fun outfit to share with you for American Girl Doll or any 18″ doll. I made her little dress using the FREE tee pattern from last week.
Same pattern but this time I used the short sleeves option and instead of the band on the bottom of the tee I added a full skirt
Easy peasy modification for a whole new look
And then dolly’s feet seemed a bit cold so I whipped up some little boots

DIY Doll Boots Step 2: With right sides together sew the boot pieces together along the front and back seams. Ignore that my pieces are different sizes…
DIY Doll Boots Step 3: With right sides together slide the boots over each and sew together around the upper edge.
DIY Doll Boots Step 4:Turn the upper boot right side out, sew to the sole and you’re finished!
These work best with material with some stretch so you can get them on and off. I haven’t tried but you could probably do a single layer in felt. It’s sturdy enough that you could skip the lining.

Thanks for the free pattern. My granddaughter loves her 18 inch doll I got her for Christmas and she will love these added to her doll clothes collection.
do you think this pattern would work on bulid-a-bear sized feet?
I don’t have a build-a-bear so it’s hard to say. You’d have to just hold the sole up to the bear’s foot and see if it’s about the right size remember to leave room for seam allowances
