Doll Swimsuit Pattern Materials
- Get Your FREE Pattern HERE. The pattern is free when you Subscribe to Our Newsletter or Join Our Facebook Group. The Pattern Coupon is found in the New Subscriber E-mail and/or the First Post in the Facebook Group.
- To make your swimsuit you’ll need 1/4 yard fabric with 4-way stretch. Use a 1/4″ seam allowance. All seams and topstitching need to be sewn with a stitch that allows stretch: serger, zig-zag stitch, stretch stitch, double needle, etc.
Doll Swimsuit Pattern & Doll Leotard Pattern Instructions
Doll Swimsuit and Leotard Pattern Step 1: With right sides together (RST) sew the front and back together at the crotch.
Doll Swimsuit and Leotard Pattern Step 2: Open the suit up and fold the leg openings over 1/4″ towards the wrong side of the suit and sew in place.
Doll Swimsuit and Leotard Pattern Step 3: With RST sew the front and back together along one shoulder seam
Doll Swimsuit and Leotard Pattern Step 4: Fold the neckline of the suit over 1/4″ towards the wrong side of the swimsuit and topstitch in place.
Doll Swimsuit and Leotard Pattern Step 5: With RST sew the other shoulder seam together.
Doll Swimsuit and Leotard Pattern Step 6: Fold the arm openings over 1/4″ towards the wrong side and sew in place.
Doll Swimsuit and Leotard Pattern Step 7: With RST sew up the suit side seams

Disappointed. I subscribed to the Newsletter, but never got access to the free pattern. Apparently in order to download the “free” pattern, you have to open an account and enter your address and billing information.
My granddaughter has a bunch of American Girl dolls with mini quilts, which I made for them.
