If you’re a last minute sewer than this is definitely for you :)The 4th of July is just around the corner- is your tot ready with some red, white, and blue??? This Fourth of July romper pattern is made from a tank top, so it comes together in minutes. Yes…minutes:) Perfect summertime project- quick and easy!

Did I mention how comfy it is???
And super cute from the back too!
alrighty…let’s get started!
Materials:
- Halter top tank top- I got mine at Wal-Mart for $2.50
- Elastic
1. Here’s my tank before I used a size 5 to make an 18 mos and it fit perfect.
2. Cut a half circle out of the bottom middle to form the leg holes. Turn the edges back and stitch down (you may want to reinforce with some additional fabric) and then add some hammer-on snaps.
3. Tack the center of the halter down to the back to form your straps. Then sew a length of elastic across the back, so it fits nice and snug- just stretch the elastic as you sew and use a zig zag stitch.
4. I finished my 4th of July Romper Pattern with a quick belt and some yo-yo flowers.
Happy 4th of July!

How creative! love the idea of a quick sew and presto a sweet outfit for the little ones. Gonna have to give it a try with some of our hand-me-down halters hanging around the house.
Thanks for another great post 🙂
