Even the bathroom deserves a few decorations right???
Growing up my Grandma had this at her house and we all loved it! When my mom went through her craft stuff she found one half finished and gave it to me. Anne is always delighted to find Santa covering his eyes when she lifts the lid 🙂
I don’t have a tutorial for it but it’s just simple applique. Make sure you sew the heads on in the right direction 🙂 I did them both facing the same way the first time around so Santa ended up upside down. Oops! Luckily I was able to save the project 🙂

This is very close to the ones I made for all my friends years ago. I have a lot of new friends that I would like to make them for, but of course, my old pattern is long gone. Is there a pattern that I can get? I’d be more than willing to pay for the pattern.
Thanks!
I have a couple of these that my mom made when I was little. I think I even have the original pattern in storage. It was Butterick 6720. Here’s a link http://www.etsy.com/listing/84694635/christmas-decorations-pattern-butterick
Thanks for reminding me of these! Kids love seeing Santa cover his eyes!
This is so funny and totally something that I would do if I didn’t have boys. I would have to make Santa with his mouth covered instead. I would wash it everyday!
My kids would sure love this! i have a hard enough time as it is keeping them away from the toilet! especially todd! 🙂
I love this. Unfortunately, I have a boy with bad aim so this wouldn’t work for me. Maybe at Grandma’s house!
That’s hilarious! Congratulations on PR&P! So excited to see what you come up with!
