Save your Christmas Card!

Did you send out a Christmas card this year? Or any year in the past? Don’t let your hard work go to waste- save those cards for years to come!
If you sent out cards in the past but don’t have a copy- call your mom. I bet she just might have saved one, especially if it had grand kid photos on it:)
Christmas Cards are such a fun way to see how your family has changed each year and if you send out a letter it provides a good family history for each year. I had all of my cards from previous years shoved in my desk and I decided it was time to give them a better home (my mom did this for our family and I love looking at it each year)
There really isn’t much to this- just grab a 3 ring binder and some sheet protectors and save those precious memories! I decorated my binder using my cricut and some vinyl.
Here’s our little family through the years…
I mounted everything on card stock and did a few simple embellishments. If we had a letter for that year I included it as well.
do this today! You really will love having it and it only takes a few minutes to put together. Now if the rest of the scrapbooking doesn’t get done you don’t have to feel too guilty:)

  1. We have sent picture cards every year since we married in 1972. That was our wedding picture. In 2002 and 2003, the pictures were of our children’s weddings. Somewhere in there, I made a scrapbook with a page for each year…much like yours. We love to look back and remember all the wonderful times, now including grandchildren. Thanks for sending this idea along! 🙂
