DIY Thread Holder

Is holiday sewing turning your craft space into a complete disaster???
Or maybe you need a gift for your sewing buddy?
Get organized with a DIY thread holder!
I had the hubs make mine and he even took pictures:)

 1. Start with a nice sturdy base- I think mine is mdf

 2. Cut 4 strips of molding at a 45 degree angle

3. Attach with a nail gun

 4. Hammer in some finish nails (the ones with small heads) and decorate:)

  1. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now I know what I am going to do with my many wood frames. I am thinking a frame for each shade of thread and hanging on my sewing room wall. Hopefully I can find nails long enough to hold one or two bobbins with matching spool of thread on top. The frames chould match the threads? OMG–soooo much fun!!!
