It’s summer! Greet your guest with a yummy watermelon door hanger!
Because nothing says summer like watermelon!
Materials:
- Foam Board
- Exacto Knife
- Fabric- red & green
- Black Buttons
- Elmers Glue
- Wire
- Hole Punch
1. Cut a watermelon slice out of your foam board. {Mine was a birthday sign in a previous life}. I made my slice with a nice big bite out of the top
2. Cut your red fabric to match leaving a little extra along the top straight edge. Glue it down and wrap the excess over to the back. {And Blogger is insisting on this being sideways- sorry about that!}
3. Cut a nice “smile” out of your green fabric and glue it to the watermelon slice. Wrap the excess over to the back.
4. Glue on some button seeds
5. Punch a hole and thread your wire through. Curl the ends by wrapping it around a pen
Happy SUMMER!
