Contestant Spotlight: Laura & Marni

Over the next few weeks we’re going to meet all 15 contestants- so exciting! Make sure you check out all of their AMAZING blogs:)

Hi Everyone, I’m Laura from Come Together Kids.  I’m the busy mom of three wonderful kids ~ ages 8, 7, and 5.
Yes, they’re totally into the “bunny ears for every picture” stage right now!
I started my blog to share some of the ways my kids and I have come together through projects, crafts, activities and outings.  They might drive me nuts, but I really do cherish the time that we spend together.

I enjoy doing all sorts of little things with my children during the day.  Then, after bedtime, when the house is quiet, I love browsing all the amazing blogs out there for inspiration and completing some crafts and projects on my own.  ( Thank goodness for coffee and Diet Coke, because I often lose track of time and stay up way past midnight internet surfing and crafting!)
Because I have limited time and money for crafts, I love projects that are relatively easy and inexpensive to make, yet result in something we enjoy and treasure.  I am super excited to be participating in American Crafter and look forward to challenging myself to come up with some cool projects for each theme.

Oh, and because I’m usually the one behind the camera,  I don’t have too many photos of myself.  Here’s one taken last year at Disney of me and my youngest daughter.  ( It’s an extra special photo because my husband actually proposed to me in Paris! )

Her audition project:

Thanks Laura!

A little something about
 “The Girl Behind the Blog”
My name is Marni and I’m from good ‘ol Arizona.  I am a mom to 2 crazy boys, ages 9 and 4, and have a sweet angel baby girl that passed away at birth. We miss her everyday and we are living our lives in such a way that we will be able to see her again someday and spend eternity together!  I LOVE being a mom more than anything! My boys keep me on my toes… football, homework, scouts, preschool, baseball, pizza parties, I LOVE it all!! My husband and I just celebrated our 11th year anniversary! He is such a blessing in my life and I feel so blessed to be married to my best friend!
