Welcoming a 2nd child is so exciting!
I wanted to make sure that my friends’ oldest kids felt extra special too:)

Enter the Big Brother & Big Sister Tees!
I wanted the Big Sister & Little Brother tees to go together, but still be girly and boyish, so I decided on a flower & a tree. I used freezer paper stencils, fabric paint, and appliquéd fabric. I cut out my freezer paper with a Cricut, but you could also use a razor blade. The lettering is with fabric paint and the flowers and trees are fabric. Need some help? Check out the St. Patty’s Tee tutorial– it uses all of the same techniques & has a full explanation
For the 2 brothers I did a bike for the Big Brother and a Trike for the Little Brother- their family is really into biking, so I thought this was just perfect for them! For the Big Brother tree I sewed the fabric wheels on first and then did the bike frame second with a freezer paper stencil and fabric paint. For the Little Brother tee I painted and then add the trike wheels with fabric.
Want to make the exact same shirts?
You can download my Sure Cuts a Lot file here to use with your Cricut.
(I cut out the tree and the flower stems without a template, but there’s pieces for everything else)
