Is your home ready for Valentine’s Day?
Mine wasn’t, so I added some quick decor to my book shelf.
Ah… love
Those kissing kids making me especially happy:)
and of course everyone loves cupid!
I loved how quickly this came together!
Materials:
- 3 blocks of wood
- Paint
- Paper
- Vinyl (optional)
- Mod Podge
- Sandpaper
1. Paint the edges of your blocks white
2. Paint each block a different color- I went with white, red, and pink. I guess I’m a traditionalist:)
3. Mod Podge on some coordinating paper
4. I used SCAL and some vinyl to make my images. If you’d like to use the same images you can download my SCAL file here. Rub those cuties on- I’d recommend using transfer paper for the cupid.(sorry about the sideways picture- it’s being stubborn)
LOVE it!
Sadly I forgot to save my SCAL file for the subway art. But…I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun picking out your own fonts. I used scrapbook paper for each of the words instead of vinyl.
