Love is in the air
I’m ready to welcome February with a fun heart wreath
I’m loving the shabby chic look
What I love most is it didn’t cost me a dime!
Materials:
- Wire hanger
- Polyfill, quilt batting, or some other form of fluff:)
- Fabric scraps
- Ribbon
1. Shape your hanger into a heart. It doesn’t have to be perfect
2. If you want to add a bit more volume to the wreath then wrap it in your “fluff”. I used polyfill and then wrapped it in a bit of tulle to keep it in place.
3. Tie on your fabric scraps and you’re done! Go hang it up:)

love this idea!! i have to make one today. would you care if i share your idea on my blog?
Carla- You can really make the scraps any size you want. Longer will make a fluffier wreath. I think mine were about 9×2″. I’d just cut a couple and experiment
Should the scrap pieces be a minimum of any size or anything?
What a cute idea! I love fabric scrap pieces! They have that, “it’s not quite finished so I just threw it together and look how great it looks” feeling! I love it!
Hmmm. I think I need one of these. It would be my fist V-day decoration 🙂
