How to Sew an Envelope Neck

Today we’re going to learn how to sew an envelope neck with this quick video tutorial!

Check out my video tutorial below:

The Envelope neck overlaps at the shoulders and you’ll find them in baby bodysuits, gowns, and onesies. They make dressing so much easier since the neckline opens up nice and big.

I am using the Lullaby Line Bodysuit & Lap Tee  in the video

I really appreciate these videos Amy!! Could you tell me what stitch you are using on your serger? I am trying to learn the 4 thread safety stitch on my Baby Lock & have been unsuccessful so far but will keep at it so that I can sew with knits using my serger only for construction & then top stitch on my sewing machine. I have learned so much @ you site from you & your testers & I really appreciate your pattern reviews!! Keep up the great work & God bless you & your family!

I have the Brother serger and I use a regular 4 thread stitch with all of my settings left at the defaults
