Free Toy Nativity Tutorial

Worried about your little one destroying your precious nativity set??? I was, so I made little miss one that’s just for her and super sturdy. Check out this free toy nativity tutorial. It’s simple and easy. The little one’s can even help make it.
Not going to lie it might not be the cutest thing out there…
But she ADORES it! She loves putting baby Jesus “nigh nigh” and she’s been carrying the whole set around all afternoon.

Let’s get started!

  • Peg Dolls in a variety of sizes
  • Paint
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Hot Glue
  • Mod Podge
  • Popsicle Sticks

 1. Paint the bodies

 2. And then go to town embellishing- I just used a pen to add faces. Don’t judge- I’m definitely not a painter and all I had was a kids watercolor brush:). After you’re done painting add a coat of Mod Podge to seal the paint.

and that goofy little guy glued onto him is a sheep:)

Baby Jesus in his Popsicle stick manger. The hubs also made a stable for me (guys never outgrow the building stage do they???)

Have fun!
